ET&S Strategic Communications

In 2019, the ×î¿ì¿ª½±Ö±²¥½ÁÖé½á¹û (×î¿ì¿ª½±Ö±²¥½ÁÖé½á¹û) Board of Trustees directed all institutions to consolidate technology services under one chief information officer (CIO) to optimize service delivery, realize economies of scale and increase value to the ×î¿ì¿ª½±Ö±²¥½ÁÖé½á¹û community. The result is Enterprise Technology & Services (ET&S), a team comprised of all IT staff across Granite State College, Keene State College, Plymouth State University, UNH Durham, Academic Technology, Research Computing and the System Office.

An initial review of IT financials across campuses revealed information that existed at multiple institutions and within various departments and funds, resulting in an overlap of services and duplicate information. Starting in December 2019, all ×î¿ì¿ª½±Ö±²¥½ÁÖé½á¹û campuses began working together to consolidate funds into a single FY21 ET&S budget.

The project's goal is to consolidate IT financial information. This will enable the new ET&S organization to understand the costs and value of services and better align resources to the strategic mission.Â
