In FY21, Enterprise Technology & Services (ET&S) Center for DATA introduced an enterprise-level reporting tool – SAP Business Objects WebIntelligence (WeBI) – to Plymouth State University (PSU) for the first time, providing self-service access to key institutional data and reports. This implementation is the first step in improving PSU’s data ecosystem and providing easier and consistent ways to access data and information.
ET&S released the PSU WeBI environment in summer 2020 and additional reports were developed over the following year. In addition, the environment was able to meet many ad-hoc needs. The WeBI tool was also used to help with Fall 2020 planning under COVID conditions.
This work benefited the PSU Office of the Registrar and Academic Affairs, as self-service reports were developed to handle standard reporting for the registrar and custom reports were developed to respond to academic affairs needs during operations under COVID-19.
