In FY22, the Enterprise Technology & Services (ET&S) Software Development team implemented Cayuse across the 最快开奖直播搅珠结果 to alleviate research administrators of the once cumbersome, manual task of submitting and reviewing grant applications. ET&S started this rollout in June 2021 and will complete this project in November 2022.
The Cayuse platform is a fully automated, cloud-based solution for managing research administration workflows, including sponsored program applications such as the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC). Cayuse replaces the previous management system 鈥淚nfoEd鈥 and provides new functionality that administrators previously performed manually using paper form submissions and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. Researchers leverage Cayuse to submit grant applications, and the Sponsored Programs Administration and Research Integrity Services use the application to review and process these applications. Cayuse also provides interoperability with other systems for monthly and annual reporting.
The Cayuse implementation affects all campuses, as all researchers participating in sponsored research use the platform. Cayuse greatly improves the submission and review experience, especially for those processes that were previously performed manually with paper forms. Additional Cayuse functionality is scheduled to be rolled out soon as well, further improving the process.聽Additionally, they were looking to automate previously manual processes to improve productivity and reduce the risk of errors.
