In the fall of 2021, Enterprise Technology & Services (ET&S) launched My Account, a standardized, modern, and secure self-service password reset, account recovery, and account activation platform for all ×î¿ì¿ª½±Ö±²¥½ÁÖé½á¹û (×î¿ì¿ª½±Ö±²¥½ÁÖé½á¹û) students and employees.

Prior to the launch of MyAccount, each ×î¿ì¿ª½±Ö±²¥½ÁÖé½á¹û institution maintained its own password reset and accounts management service, which required frequent maintenance and oversight, adding to operational overhead. Students and employees often called the Help Desk for password recovery assistance and to claim their technology accounts, such as email, or to recover access to their accounts.

MyAccount provides users with a consistent 24/7/365 self-service password reset experience, reducing the need to contact the Help Desk for assistance. This new platform also ensures stability by introducing a single tool while decreasing the operational overhead of maintaining multiple password management platforms. MyAccount also increases the security of password recovery by introducing multifactor authentication to the process, along with the addition of security questions to help with identity verification.
