Coming This Fall: Enhanced Security for Microsoft 365 Email
To Know: Over the next six months, Enterprise Technology & Services (ET&S) will roll out
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for Microsoft 365 (M365) to all ×î¿ì¿ª½±Ö±²¥½ÁÖé½á¹û (×î¿ì¿ª½±Ö±²¥½ÁÖé½á¹û) students and employees to further enhance security on ×î¿ì¿ª½±Ö±²¥½ÁÖé½á¹û email accounts. Purdue University began usingÌý MFA for Microsoft 365 services in the fall of 2021 and saw its .
ET&S piloted this change with employees in June to collect feedback on the process. Last week, we implemented MFA for M365 for all ×î¿ì¿ª½±Ö±²¥½ÁÖé½á¹û Systems Office employees.

New Suicide & Crisis Lifeline
To Know: TheÌý, formerly known as the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, is now the easy-to-remember resource for reaching trained crisis counselors who can help with suicide, mental health and substance use-related crises.

MyAccount Reminder: Register Your Account Before Your Password Expires
To Know: The ×î¿ì¿ª½±Ö±²¥½ÁÖé½á¹û (×î¿ì¿ª½±Ö±²¥½ÁÖé½á¹û) MyAccount self-service tool allows you to manage your password and your university account. With MyAccount, you can update your password and find your username and/or University ID number. If you forget your password, you can use the Reset Password feature to access your account.
To Do: All ×î¿ì¿ª½±Ö±²¥½ÁÖé½á¹û students and employees should register their account recovery options via the MyAccount tool to avoid getting locked out. Follow these

×î¿ì¿ª½±Ö±²¥½ÁÖé½á¹û has partnered with Microsoft to provide training for cloud storage services – OneDrive and SharePoint. These sessions are open to all ×î¿ì¿ª½±Ö±²¥½ÁÖé½á¹û employees.
