In July 2021, the ×î¿ì¿ª½±Ö±²¥½ÁÖé½á¹û (×î¿ì¿ª½±Ö±²¥½ÁÖé½á¹û) Board of Trustees approved the merger of Granite State College (GSC) into the University of New Hampshire (UNH) following the resignation of the GSC President. Granite State College and UNH Manchester are set to become two different campuses under one college – College for Professional Studies.
Various Enterprise Technology & Services teams assisted with this merger by converting the Granite State College Banner Student data into the UNH Banner Student instance. This project involved tight deadlines while ensuring the accuracy of student data to avoid negatively impacting students.
The project was divided into two phases. Phase one included a portion of the data, approximately 5,500 person records, which included reviewing and revising every batch process as needed to include or exclude GSC data. ET&S completed phase one in April 2023. Phase two, the remaining data, began in June 2023.
ET&S also supported this project by improving the experience for students, faculty, and staff through the consolidation process by merging applications, content, resources, and roles for Granite State College into the College of Professional Studies at UNH. This included providing seamless users access to relevant tools and systems within their ×î¿ì¿ª½±Ö±²¥½ÁÖé½á¹û experience. Migrated content includes but is not limited to Qualtrics, Canvas (Canvas Extend, UNH Canvas), Zoom, Kaltura, Pressbooks, and Blue.
