In the spring of 2023, the ×î¿ì¿ª½±Ö±²¥½ÁÖé½á¹û (×î¿ì¿ª½±Ö±²¥½ÁÖé½á¹û) initiated a significant project to overhaul the existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system by selecting Workday as the new ERP platform. This comprehensive system is crucial for managing a wide array of institutional services and catering to the needs of faculty, staff, and students.Â
This project involved transitioning from legacy systems, including Banner Human Resources/Finance, PeopleAdmin, UKG, and several other tools, to the more modern and efficient Workday platform.Â
Workday stands out for its accessibility, speed, intuitiveness, consistency, and accuracy. The implementation of Workday is set to bring about several improvements, such as:
- Enhancing data accuracy
- Eliminating redundant processes
- Ensuring uniform data access across all ×î¿ì¿ª½±Ö±²¥½ÁÖé½á¹û campuses
Over the past year, ET&S concentrated on integrating Workday's HR and Finance components into the new framework. The anticipated go-live date for Workday HR and Finance is January 2025, with preparatory data entry work beginning in December.
